I know it was cheap, but one of the selling points for me was reviews that said the sound quality is good. The speakers are garbage. Just playing music or a YouTube video even at full volume is still really quiet and you pretty much need headphones to really hear decently. Also, for some reasoning startup there is a lag of like 2 full minutes where I’m clicking the mouse and hitting enter waiting for the login screen to come up—same for when it goes to sleep. That’s totally ridiculous because it’s clearly idling, not busy doing something. It’s like they programmed it to not bring up the login screen until you clicked it 50x. Otherwise using it is ok. I think most of my other issues with it is just with Windows 10, like they tried to make it more like a tablet and it’s really difficult to access your folders and files. That’s just they way all computers are going, trying to make everything apps and not let you really control things like you could. They system is generally pretty slow, but my previous Acer was $200 more, so that probably makes a massive difference. I’m sure no one is still considering buying a laptop that’s several years old, but hopefully this will help you put more research and consideration about price and specs when looking at laptops.

This isn’t a bad little machine for $300.

Its reasonably fast and more than adequate for every day email, web surfing, doing homework, etc.

That being said if you think by purchasing this you’re buying a powerhouse laptop that will surely stand the test of time and be able to take a lickin’ and keep on tickin’ your probably wrong.

The whole frame of the laptop is flimsy plastic. I highly doubt it would take even a "small" impact. If you require something rugged I’d keep looking.

But again, it’s a bargain-based economy machine.

The thing that I really don’t like about is the trackpad. Its very flimsy and out of the box way to sensitive in my opinion. The cursor seemed to jump around the screen way to easily… Thankfully you can tweak it in the settings.

I bought this laptop understanding that i wasn’t gone get a super computer but i was at least expecting a working product insteadi got a laptop that would freeze every single time you are trying to open or perform any sort of action on her. software take for ever to load and constantly crashing. My suggestion is go with asus and spend a 200 dollars more for a better product.

update,This computer is no longer working.Somehow or another it set itself up to airplane mode, and without being able to access the Internet I can’t reset the airplane mode to be off! It’s running off of the Microsoft system and once the password but I can’t reset my password because I can’t get to the Internet!
